American Forward William Perry (183-F-1994) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for top-ranked Fath US de Rabat, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (24 points, eight rebounds and eight assists) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Maktown (#4, 1-1) with 25-point margin 97-72. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed FUS Rabat to take over top position in the Basketball Africa League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and FUS Rabat won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Perry had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He turned to be FUS Rabat's top player in his first season with the team. William Perry averages just after two games 14.5ppg and 4.5apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Omar Abada (189-PG-1993) of league's second-best Club Africain Tunis. Abada had a very good evening with 25 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. It was enough for Club Africain to edge Al Ahly C. (1-1) 69-68. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Abada is one of the most experienced players at Club Africain and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#4). He also recorded 6.5 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Kevin Murphy (197-G-1990, agency: The Crew A.M.) of Al Ahly Cairo (#3). Murphy showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Al Ahly, leading his team to a 76-72 win against ASCVD (#6, 0-2). Al Ahly needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Murphy has a great season in Basketball Africa League. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.0ppg (9th best).
